My art explores and expresses a fascination with a dimension of patterns and texture in glass. I am intrigued how glass flows and reacts together.
With the many hours spent melting and annealing glass to a final shape, I create an intimacy between the original inspiration and the unique action of the glass.

Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my art.
I am a full time glass artist residing in Maple City, Michigan. My style is mostly a unique process of spontaneously layering of bold color with texture create contemporary forms in abstraction. I live to play in bold expressive color and to be creative in shapes and forms. I am inspired by things I see around me - a line, a shadow, a texture, a pattern, a color, a form or shape - it's all part of what gets me going in a creative process.
I've been addicted to glass for the last 5 years. I have always been a "crafter" of sorts, like knitting, mosaic, jewelry design, scrapbooking, etc. I have ventured on my own learning what styles I lean toward. I love sharing what I've learned with other artists through my classes and workshops.
I thank God for all the talents he has given me and all the beautiful inspiration he has put into this world everyday. I am extremely grateful to be living this dream he gave me and inspiring others to do the same. Feel free to bookmark this site and forward it to friends.
