Welcome everyone to my first blog, which happens to be on my birthday. I have wanted to start a blog for several years. I guess there is no better time than the present. Blogs have been so creatively inspiring for me and I usually spend more time surfing and reading them instead of doing my own creating and sharing. They just suck me right in!
I am going to be honest here - I am both scared and excited about this new adventure. Scared because I am not a computer savvy person, so that in it self will be a HUGE learning curve for my right brain. Excited because I get to share with you my love for faith, life, art, color and dogs.
So, I will start things off with this is a very busy time here. I am not only learning how to share my art with others but I am now the 1/3 owner of a new gallery and open studio in downtown Holland, MI. Flying Colorz Studio will be opening at the end of April, just in time for Tulip Time festivities! YEAH!!!! My 2 partners and I have been so busy working on the ends and outs of starting the business that my creative side of the brain is screaming “Hey! Have you forgotten about me!” And my left side is causing me to have an increase in blood pressure. Maybe this was so I would be able to sympathize with my husband (the business executive) a little more.
Well, I hope this is the start of a positive new journey in which I have something worthy to contribute and inspire y’all as much as y’all have inspired me. Thank you for stopping by and letting me share. Please feel free to share my site with your friends. Until next time-
